An approval counts as a decision — approved or rejected — made in the current calendar month (UTC), not every action your agent submits for review. An action that expires without anyone deciding on it doesn't count against your quota.
The monthly approval quota and watcher limit only gate creating something new — the API returns 402 Payment Required with the limit and your current tier, but deciding on actions that are already pending is never blocked. A watcher that finds a match while your approval quota is full holds that match rather than publishing or discarding it, and surfaces it in the watcher's status; it's retried on each run and published once the quota frees up, as long as the source still lists it. Upgrade and Stripe's webhook updates your tier right after checkout completes.
Indie and Team are monthly subscriptions. Subscribe from the dashboard and Stripe charges the card on file every month until you cancel.
Change plan, update your payment method, or cancel from the self-serve billing portal — no email or support ticket needed. Once a cancelled subscription actually ends on Stripe's side, the webhook moves the project back to the free tier automatically.
